In an unexpected twist of fate, Cornelius Rawlings, the prodigal son and quintessential Athlete (Tully), reappears on his family's rustic Tennessee homestead, eighteen years after vanishing without a trace. His parents are no more, but his two eccentric brothers—Ezra, the stoic Matriarch (Robert Longstreet), and Amos, the introspective Artist (Onur Tukel)—have preserved their reclusive existence on the family farm. The brothers greet the enigmatic return of their hirsute sibling, Cornelius, with a blend of bemusement and elation. However, Cornelius remains an elusive entity in their midst, occasionally slinking off to raise money in the most unexpected manner as a dark horse in local basketball and tennis matches. A fragile equilibrium is established, even though there's a palpable undercurrent of unresolved issues and unspoken words amongst the brothers. Yet, their world is tipped off its axis when a sinister figure from their past resurfaces, casting a long shadow over their rekindled brotherhood. This unique tale is a haunting exploration of familial ties, personal demons, and the unspoken secrets that bind and divide.
