In the blink of an eye, 15-year-old Lee Keegan's life is upended as he is expelled from his prestigious private school, only to confront a global pandemic that's spreading at an alarming rate. Grief-stricken by his father's death and with his mother stranded overseas, Lee finds himself with a single directive: return to school. However, St. Mark's School for Boys is no longer the sanctuary it once was. Its towering walls are incapable of halting the local parish council from assembling a militia and executing martial law. Inside, the apocalyptic outside world seeps in, stirring up chaos among the students, including Lee's best friend. Amidst this turmoil, Lee's unreciprocated affection for the school nurse proves a distraction, adding another layer of struggle to his fight for survival.
