Plot

In the sun-soaked beaches of San Diego, a chilling terror begins to emerge from beneath the sparkling waves. An eerie shiver of glowing, radioactive sharks is wreaking havoc on the peaceful coast, turning the azure ocean into a boiling cauldron of death. As the scorched bodies of fish start to litter the once pristine beaches, a chilling realization dawns upon the local community - these monstrous creatures aren't just hunting, they're igniting everything in their path, reducing bathers to ash with their radioactive bite. Amidst the ensuing pandemonium, the city's unsung protectors rise to the occasion. Led by the fearless lifeguard, Gina, a band of tenacious locals and leftover film crew members join forces to combat the unthinkable. They're the city's last line of defense, standing against the radioactive tide, while others scoff at the horrifying reality they've witnessed. The clock is mercilessly ticking against them. If they don't act swiftly, these volatile underwater predators threaten to turn not just the city, but the entire West Coast, into a smoldering wasteland. As they grapple with disbelief, horror, and the growing pile of flaming victims, the question lingers - can they gather the courage and evidence needed to hunt down these atomic sharks before it's too late? "Saltwater" is a gripping tale of survival, bravery, and the unfathomable depths of oceanic horror. Will the West Coast succumb to the fiery wrath of these mutated sea beasts, or will our unlikely heroes triumph against the odds? Only the roiling, saltwater waves hide the answer.
