Plot

In an era where big-band music is losing its luster, orchestra manager Steve Hollis is on the hunt for a fresh sound. Alongside his loyal companion Corny, they stumble upon a small-town phenomenon in Strawberry Springs during a pit stop on their way to New York. The town hall is alive with the vibrant energy of youth, all swaying to a revolutionary beat led by the local band, Bill Haley and His Comets. This new wave of music, adorned with the name 'rock'n'roll', is accompanied by an infectious style of dancing, effortlessly executed by sibling duo Lisa and Jimmy Johns. Steve, quick to spot a potential nationwide sensation, convinces the band and the dancers to entrust their breakthrough to him. In New York, he seeks the backing of top agent Corinne Talbot, a woman whose romantic advances he has evaded for a while. The revelation of Steve's heart leaning towards the young dancer Lisa Johns sparks a change in Corinne's strategy. Corinne, consumed by envy, attempts to sabotage the rock'n'roll group at every turn. But the irresistible charm of the new music wave, combined with Lisa's quick thinking, propels them towards unprecedented success across the country. The movie 'Rock Around the Clock' is a rhythmic journey tracing the rise of rock'n'roll, the struggle for love, and the triumph of innovation over jealousy.
