Plot

In a world gasping under the suffocating grip of uninsured patients, profit-hungry insurance companies, and merciless healthcare conglomerates, the very foundation of the health care system teeters on the brink of collapse. Yet, in this chaos, one man, Jake Gorman, an egotistical medical malpractice attorney, flourishes. A relentless predator in the world of litigation, his face decorates billboards, his advertisements echo incessantly across radio and television stations, and his legion of informants keep him abreast of every lucrative lawsuit. Every doctor is a potential target for Jake, a fact that has made him both wealthy and notorious. However, R.I.P Healthcare, in a bid to save their sinking ship, has engineered an unforeseen adversary, MD 63, also known as Robo-Doc. A marvel of artificial intelligence, Robo-Doc is a robotic doctor infused with every shred of medical knowledge known to mankind. The robotic doctor is incapable of making errors, a feature designed to save not just lives, but money as well. If successful, Robo-Doc promises to revolutionize the healthcare industry with flawless, cost-effective care accessible to all. But for Jake Gorman, this could mean the end of his lucrative reign. The game has changed, and for the first time, Jake faces an opponent he may not be able to defeat.
