In the dusty tales of the Wild West, the famed steed "Champion", belonging to Gene Autry, is cunningly snatched away by the notorious jailbirds Jake Fargon, Pete Reagon, and Charlie Lewis. These are the same villains who, two decades prior, were apprehended and shackled by City Marshal Steve Autry - Gene's own father - following a daring heist of $30,000 from "Big Tim" Hanlon, a man known far and wide as a bonanza king. In an attempt to reclaim what is rightfully his, Gene follows the convicts to a spine-chilling ghost town, a place shrouded in mystery and whispers of buried treasure. Here, he stumbles upon not only the convicts but also Hanlon, and the gentle school teacher Ruth Lambert. A local eccentric, Loco John, sends chills down Gene's spine with his ominous warning of the lurking killers. As the convicts close in, Gene and his allies find themselves ensnared in a deadly game of cat and mouse, navigating eerie buildings and darkened alleyways of the haunted town. The stage is set for a thrilling showdown in the heart of the abandoned settlement, building suspense and intrigue in every frame.
