In the year 1892, a tempest brews as the ancient Egyptian deity, Sutekh, seethes with fury. His wrath invoked by a 3,000-year-old sorcerer who dared to pilfer one of the God's most sacred secrets of life - the ability to infuse the essence of the dying into lifeless objects. To retrieve both the audacious sorcerer and the stolen secret, Sutekh resurrects three embalmed high priests, spearheaded by the nefarious "First Servant," setting them on a relentless chase across time. Their pursuit leads them to the romantic city of Paris in the 19th century, where they cross paths with a young and gifted puppeteer, Andre Toulon. Toulon operates a puppet theatre nestled in the heart of Paris, and his life intertwines with the sorcerer, the enigmatic Afzel, in an unexpected twist of fate. This encounter is facilitated by the enchanting daughter of the Swiss Ambassador, Ilsa, who rescues Afzel from the brink of death. In this fateful meeting, a spark is ignited, sowing the seeds of a saga that will echo through time. This is the genesis of the enthralling Puppetmaster series, a tale that intricately weaves the threads of ancient secrets, divine wrath, and the enduring power of human creativity.
