In the desperate throes of impending fatherhood, Michael embarks on a resolute mission to salvage his long-standing friendship with Chris, a man drowning in the turbulent waves of addiction. Venturing into the desolate edges of San Diego, he imprisons Chris in an isolated cabin, his chains of confinement fastened to an exposed plumbing pipe, a symbolic shackle representing his path to enforced sobriety. As Michael stands sentinel, however, the eerie undertones of their surroundings begin to surface. Poised on the edge of an Indian Reservation, the land bears witness to a parade of eccentric characters, as if drawn in by some invisible magnet. Yet, there's an even more disconcerting presence lurking in the shadows. An unseen entity, an insatiable voyeur, has long been engrossed in documenting the area's activities through a plethora of recording devices, from CDs and film to antiquated phonographs. As Michael unravels this bewildering mystery, he begins to grasp a chilling truth -- he and Chris have been unwittingly woven into the narrative of this imperceptible entity. A gruesome resolution looms on their horizon, a fate orchestrated by the strings of this phantom puppeteer. The only escape is to manipulate their own ending, an agreeable alternate to the sinister conclusion laid out before them. As they grapple with this disturbing reality, they must confront not only the external menace but also their own personal demons. In the ominous silence of the cabin and the unsettling rustle of the surrounding wilderness, 'Resolution' unfolds, an electrifying tale of friendship, fear, and the desperate struggle for survival against an unseen adversary.
