In the throes of an international celebration of peace, an unforeseen nuclear accident plunges the world into an apocalyptic nightmare. This catastrophic event transforms a vast portion of humanity into voracious, flesh-eating zombies. Amid the escalating chaos, a motley ensemble of survivors finds sanctuary in an eerily vacant casino nestled in the heart of Reno, Nevada. The group, comprised of the pragmatic Tom, his insightful girlfriend Tori, the outspoken Jensen, and the enigmatic Victor, tirelessly work to fortify their unlikely refuge. As they secure their stronghold with dwindling supplies, they exist in the eerie calm at the heart of the storm, the relentless undead growing increasingly intelligent, powerful, and ferocious beyond the casino’s fortified walls. An unanticipated transmission over a walkie-talkie injects a glimmer of hope into their bleak existence. Tom, clinging onto the promise of rescue, uses a searchlight to beacon their location. However, the group’s unity is threatened by Tori's growing suspicion. She doubts the altruism of the supposed rescuers led by the elusive Ramsey, questioning whether they're the saviors they claim to be, or a more sinister force veiled by the chaos. In the murky world of "Remains," trust becomes a luxury and survival a game of Russian roulette, leaving viewers to question – is Tori's intuition accurate, or is paranoia starting to gnaw at the edges of their sanity?
