In the throes of the Rapture, Seattle is plunged into an apocalyptic nightmare, and amongst those inexplicably left behind are the young couple, Lindsey Lewis and Ben House. As the city crumbles around them, they find themselves in a world now ruled by non-believers and dictated by the absurd and terrifying reign of a completely unhinged politician known as "The Beast". This deranged former statesman, Earl Gundy, has, in the wake of the Rapture, ascended to the infamous role of the Anti-Christ. As if navigating this apocalyptic new world wasn't challenging enough, the lascivious Beast sets his sights on the unsuspecting Lindsey, determined to claim her as his wife.
