Rakshasudu (1986)

In the heart of a tumultuous world, a single widowed woman risks the wrath of her unsympathetic landlord by giving birth to a baby boy. The newborn, cruelly discarded by the ruthless landlord, is discovered by a drunken man who becomes his temporary guardian. However, the lure of money proves too strong, and the boy is sold to a harsh labour camp, marking the beginning of an arduous journey. Two decades pass, and the now-grown Pursha (Chiranjeevi), alongside his steadfast companion Simham (Nagendra Babu), breaks free from the confines of the labour camp, fuelled by a burning desire to reunite with his long-lost mother. They approach the landlord, who greedily demands a bribe for the precious information. Driven by desperation, Pursha and Simham resort to theft, only to be caught red-handed by the elusive JK (Rao Gopal Rao). In a surprising twist, JK allows them to keep the stolen money. However, he has an ulterior motive: he hopes to use Pursha to dismantle his drug-dealing rival.
