In the heart of a weapons manufacturing labyrinth, Sarah McKinnis, a brilliant software engineer, becomes an unwilling test subject when she's inadvertently shot in the head by a novel riot control pistol. The blow ushers her into a surreal world where the familiar is replaced by grotesque alien apparitions. Unseen by others, these space invaders mask their hideous green skin beneath human facades. Despite her perilous reality, Sarah finds no ally in her supervisor, Ed Devon, who remains oblivious to the alien horror among them. The aliens, sensing their exposure, unleash a devastating slaughter in the laboratory, leaving Sarah as the lone survivor.
