Plot

In the heart of routine and predictability, Dr. Claire Summers, a dedicated therapist, finds her life irrevocably disrupted when she's thrust into the aftermath of a devastating airplane crash. Handpicked by her mentor Perry, who yearns to see her step beyond her comfort zone, she becomes the beacon of healing for a handful of survivors, the fortunate few out of over a hundred souls lost to the tragedy. Amongst the survivors is the enigmatic Eric Clark, a man who, contrary to his fellow crash victims, exudes an exhilarating zest for life. Seeing potential in their connection, Claire daringly ventures into the uncharted territory of their friendship, all while maintaining the delicate balance of her professional role. Eric's allure lies not just in his magnetic personality, but his uncanny knowledge of Claire's personal life, a mystery that she is irresistibly drawn to unravel. As she delves into the survivors' stories, Claire discovers a disquieting discord between their recollections and the airline's official statement. The blame is conveniently placed on the deceased pilot, yet the survivors speak of a suspicious explosion, a detail the airline vehemently denies. Claire's pursuit of truth sets her on a collision course with Mr. Arkin, the airline's representative, whose incessant presence and dubious conduct fan the flames of her suspicions. A chilling conspiracy theory begins to take form as the survivors, once united in their shared trauma, start disappearing one by one. The shadow of an unknown man lurks around every corner, his motives as elusive as his identity. Amidst this escalating intrigue, Claire finds solace in her neighbor's comforting presence and in Eric's enigmatic charm, both of whom seem to understand her in ways she can't quite fathom. Determined to uncover the truth, Claire embarks on a perilous journey, a quest that may well lead her to Eric's doorstep. As her professional boundaries blur into a blossoming romance with Eric, Claire finds herself teetering on the edge of danger, the answers she seeks potentially holding the key to the enigma that is Eric and the fate of the disappearing survivors. The closer she gets to the truth, the higher the stakes become, and Claire must decide if the truth is worth the escalating cost. The echoes of the crash are far from over, and Claire is about to discover that some secrets are better left buried in the wreckage.
