In the glamorous world of theatre, Maria, a talented actress, finds love in her charismatic co-star, Ben King. Their blissful romance is disrupted by a chilling letter from Maria's estranged mother, Rosa. Rosa, a wealthy and stylish woman, hides a dark obsession beneath her polished veneer. She harbors a deep-rooted hatred for Maria, fueled by a mysterious past that led Maria to flee from her mother at the tender age of 16.
