No Way Out (1987)

In the nerve-wracking labyrinth of Washington politics, Defense Secretary David Brice finds himself locked in a bitter dispute with Senator William 'Billy' Duvall over a contentious submarine project. In an attempt to tip the scales, Brice's Machiavellian advisor Scott Pritchard brings on board the heroic Navy Lieutenant Commander Tom Farrell, who recently entered the national spotlight for his daring rescue of a sailor during a storm. At a glittering party, Farrell's path crosses with the enigmatic Susan Atwell. Ignited by a fiery connection, they embark on a passionate affair, oblivious of the dangerous ties that bind them. Unbeknownst to Farrell, Susan is also entwined with Brice in a clandestine relationship. He must solve Susan's murder before the evidence points towards him, unmask the phantom KGB mole, and navigate the treacherous political waters, all while keeping his own secrets buried deep beneath the surface. The gripping tale of No Way Out explores the depths of desperation, love, and betrayal within the shadowy corridors of power.
