Nine Miles Down (2009)

In the harshest reaches of the Sahara desert, a forsaken drilling station, Jebel Afra, stands shrouded in mystery and battered by relentless sandstorms. Once a beacon of gas exploration and now abandoned, it has recently become the heart of an ambitious project. A multinational research team, led by the enigmatic Professor Borman, plans to drill deeper into the Earth's crust than any have dared before. Enter Thomas 'Jack' Jackman, a seasoned security agent for GNE, tasked to investigate the sudden and eerie silence from the station. Jackman's journey takes him through the ferocious winds of the Sahara, leading him to the station that appears to be swallowed by the desert and echoes with disturbing silence. His exploration unearths chilling videotapes from Dr. Borman, who speaks of an ancient evil released from the depths of the Earth. As Jackman grapples with these revelations and his own disturbing visions, he begins to question the true nature of the alluring Dr. Christianson. Is she a survivor or a seductive entity luring him into the grips of the unearthly force? Caught in a vortex of paranoia, hallucinations, and a grim past, Jackman must navigate the labyrinth of the haunted drilling station, where each corner holds a piece of a jigsaw puzzle that could either be his salvation or damnation.
