In the heart of a spine-chilling cinema theatre, under the watchful eye of the cryptic projectionist played by Mickey Rourke, five unsuspecting strangers find themselves drawn into an eerie world. David Slade's This Way to Egress, shot in chilling monochrome, sees a woman's reality fracture as she slips into a parallel universe, a realm of fear and the unknown. The final tale, Dead, also directed by Mick Garris, unfolds in a hospital's sterile confines, where a young boy wrestles with malevolent spirits and a tangible murder threat.
