Mutants (2008)

Amid the clutches of greed, Braylon, the domineering owner of Just Rite Sugar Company, employs the unscrupulous scientist Sergei to engineer a sugar more addictive than the potent grasp of heroin or nicotine. Their sinister laboratory is the clandestine Shadow Rock Mill, where the unseen society—beggars, junkies, and illegals—become unwilling test subjects in their desperate bid to skyrocket sales. Their plot takes a perilous turn when Braylon's henchmen mistakenly capture Ryan. As the brother of Braylon's secretary Erin and son of his security chief Griff, Ryan's untainted status turns him into an invaluable test case. Simultaneously, a digital specter named Cinderella sends cryptic emails to Erin. They contain haunting images of Ryan and veiled hints about his whereabouts. Driven by a mix of fear and determination, Erin and Griff embark on a harrowing journey to find Ryan, their path illuminated by these enigmatic breadcrumbs. The ticking clock intensifies as they strive to save Ryan, and perhaps expose the dark underbelly of the sugar empire.
