Plot

In the haunting aftermath of a devastating personal loss, Samuel Salomon, a literature professor, finds himself suspended in a year-long limbo. Tethered to reality by grief, yet tormented by a chilling recurring nightmare, he is drawn into a macabre dance with the spectral shadow of his deceased girlfriend. Night after night, he's subjected to the brutal murder of a woman by a cryptic ritual; a scene so vividly etched in his subconscious that it blurs the line between dream and reality. Suddenly, the haunting apparition from his nightmares materializes in the real world, found dead under eerily identical circumstances. Propelled by an unsettling curiosity, Samuel surreptitiously infiltrates the chilling crime scene. Here, he encounters Rachel, a fellow dream-weaver who has also been plagued by the same murderous nocturnal vision. Their shared nightmare mutates into a shared mission, as they collectively embark on a journey into the unknown. They find themselves navigating a labyrinth of myth and superstition, threading their way through a world that is as terrifying as it is fascinating. This world, they soon discover, is under the sinister sway of seven formidable women, the Muses—ancient entities whose enigmatic existence has inspired artists throughout the ages. As they delve deeper into this eerie reality, they are forced to question their understanding of the world, their beliefs, and even their sanity. Who are these ominous Muses? What is their true intent? Samuel and Rachel must decipher the secrets shrouding these malevolent figures, even as they grapple with the chilling prospect that their dreams may be more than mere figments of their imagination. Their journey is a twisted waltz with danger, mystery, and an impending doom that hangs over them like a sword of Damocles.
