In the heart of an enchantingly whimsical Paris, Colin, a prosperous bachelor, fills his days perfecting his unique pianocktail – a piano that mixes cocktails – and indulging in the fantastical cuisine of his dependable chef, Nicolas. Upon hearing of his best friend Chick's new romance with an American woman, Colin, a fellow devotee of philosopher Jean-Sol Partre, yearns for a love of his own. An opportunity arises at a friend's gathering, where he is swept off his feet by the radiant Chloe. As Duke Ellington's tunes fill the air, they find themselves irresistibly drawn to each other, diving into a whirlwind romance. Their bliss is disrupted when a peculiar ailment afflicts Chloe - a flower starts to bloom in her lungs. To save his beloved, Colin embarks on a desperate quest to find a remedy, which he discovers can only be achieved by immersing Chloe in a perpetual cascade of fresh flowers.
