Thrown into a unique whirlwind of romance, intrigue and deception, bashful Joe Zany finds himself in the throes of a peculiar challenge. Haunted by a chronic fear of girls since infancy, the mere touch of a female's lips sends him into violent fits of hiccups. Desperate to help his son overcome this peculiar ailment, J.B. Zany, a prominent utilities tycoon, recruits the services of the astute escort bureau manager, Bob Norman, promising a handsome reward in return. Bob, seizing the chance, devises a cunning plan. Aware of Joe's comfort around elderly women, he whisks him away to a bustling lake resort, teeming with attractive young ladies. He convinces Joe that these are simply old women who have undergone rejuvenating facelifts. Unbeknownst to both, J.B. harbors hidden intentions, scheming to acquire all the property encircling the lake for an ambitious electric power project. Stafford and Murph, his covert agents, are tasked with persuading the resilient resort owner, Lois Marlow, to relinquish her land. Lois, however, proves to be a tough nut to crack. Despite her resort's dwindling male population causing an exodus of guests, she staunchly refuses to sell. In a twist of fate, she stumbles upon the truth about Joe's immense wealth, spinning a tale about him being a millionaire playboy. The intrigued girls, sensing an opportunity, decide to stay, aiming to ensnare Joe with their charms. Meanwhile, Stafford and Murph, eager to expedite Lois's surrender, plan to frighten Joe away. The stage is set for a thrilling dance of manipulation, wit, and unexpected romance.
