Carrying the weight of a war-infected past, Bazil, a passionate movie aficionado and erstwhile video store clerk, finds his existence irreversibly altered by the cruel instruments of conflict. His father was torn away from him three decades ago, a casualty of a lethal landmine explosion in Morocco. Fate, however, had a cruel encore in store for Bazil as a stray bullet from a nearby shootout finds a permanent home in his skull, threatening to snuff out his life at any given moment. Jobless and homeless, Bazil's path intertwines with Slammer, a reformed convict with a heart of gold. Slammer opens the doors of a vibrant world to Bazil, introducing him to a charmingly ragtag crew of junkyard dealers. This eccentric family includes Calculator, a whizz with numbers, Buster, the audacious human cannonball, Tiny Pete, the creator of enchanting automatons, and Elastic Girl, a fiery contortionist with a quick wit. When the winds of fortune divulge the identities of the two arms manufacturers guilty of creating the deadly devices that marred his life, Bazil is ignited with a fervor for revenge. He concocts an intricate scheme of retribution, intricately weaving together the unique talents of his newfound family. United by their shared affection for Bazil, they enthusiastically conspire to set his plan in motion, setting the stage for a showdown that promises to be anything but ordinary.
