Masters of the Universe (1987)

In the far-flung realm of Eternia, a world caught between the realms of magic and technology, the nefarious dark lord Skeletor seizes control of the mighty Castle Grayskull. With the castle's Sorceress held captive in her own sanctuary, Skeletor embarks on a chilling quest to drain her powers and ascend as the supreme Master of the Universe. In the face of such malevolent tyranny stands He-Man, the mightiest warrior in the universe, whose strength and valor are matched only by his unwavering determination. Alongside him, loyal soldier Man-at-Arms, his spirited daughter Teela, and the inventive dwarf locksmith, Gwildor, form an unwavering line of defense. However, when their first attempt to liberate the Sorceress using Gwildor's groundbreaking invention, the Cosmic Key, ends in defeat, they are forced to flee through a portal to an unfamiliar realm: Earth. Lost in a world far from Eternia, He-Man and his companions must navigate their strange surroundings while searching for the misplaced Cosmic Key. Unbeknownst to them, the key falls into the hands of unsuspecting Earthlings, Julie Winston and her boyfriend Kevin Corrigan. Misinterpreting the celestial artifact as a foreign musical instrument, they inadvertently activate it, making Earth the new battleground for the cosmic conflict. Meanwhile, back on Eternia, Skeletor's sinister second-in-command, Evil-Lyn, locates the Cosmic Key. With the key as their new target, Skeletor dispatches a ruthless entourage of mercenaries and soldiers to Earth. Their mission? To vanquish He-Man and his comrades, reclaim the Cosmic Key, and ensure Skeletor's universal conquest. Caught between the dire stakes of Eternia and the unsuspecting Earth, He-Man and his allies must outmaneuver Skeletor's forces, reclaim the Cosmic Key, and return home to defeat Skeletor. As the fate of two worlds hangs in the balance, the ultimate battle for the universe unfolds in an epic clash of good versus evil.
