In the throbbing heart of WWII, Bostonian blue-blood and Air Corps Lieutenant Tom West, a man raised amidst successful marriages and long-term relationships, enters into a whirlwind romance. After a mere three days, he proposes to New York socialite Theo Scofield, their nuptials hastily arranged to precede Tom's imminent deployment into the war zone.
