Plot

As the frosty tendrils of Christmas time descend, Roger, a young man grappling with his troubled past, embarks on a journey home seeking reconciliation with his estranged younger sister, Brooke. Their shared memories, like faded photographs, have been gathering dust for almost three years. Roger, with his new love and hopeful future, Gwen, by his side, arrives only to be met with the chilling absence of Brooke. The spectral silence of the house is broken by the unwelcome presence of his former friend, Charles, and past flame, Kate, their motives as murky as the winter's night. Roger's volatile temperament, like a sleeping beast, is held on a tight leash as the evening unfolds in a discordant symphony of anticipation for Brooke's arrival. The unsettling quietude is shattered when Marcus, Brooke's purported boyfriend, steps into the scene, an enigma wrapped in a puzzle. His assurances of Brooke's imminent arrival do little to dissipate the palpable tension. As the evening crawls forward on frozen fingers, Brooke remains a specter, her whereabouts shrouded in mystery. The festive atmosphere curdles into a chilling tableau of unease and suspicion. The night takes a sinister twist when Roger's shadowy past emerges like a phantom from the depths, setting the stage for Marcus's staggering revelation. A maelstrom of violence and deception engulfs the gathering, turning what was meant to be a peaceful holiday dinner into a harrowing descent into terror. The Christmas lights flicker, casting eerie shadows, as the true nature of Marcus is unveiled, forever staining the snowy white canvas of Christmas with the dark hues of dread.
