In a world where legends intertwine with reality, exists a divine artifact known as "Maragadha Naanayam", a green emerald encased in golden metal, resonating with the aura of a bygone era. This celestial stone, a gift from a Goddess to a revered king, became his weapon to conquer lands and vanquish enemies. Upon his demise, the king entombed the stone with him, binding it with his spirit, thereby cursing the precious relic.
Fast-forward to 1990, the cursed stone, feared for its lethal connection with the king's malicious spirit "Irumbarazan", has claimed the lives of 132 audacious souls who dared to seize it. Amidst this reign of terror, our brave yet desperate hero steps forth, agreeing to retrieve the Maragadha Naanayam for a small-time mobster in return for a colossal sum of rupees, enough to rid him of his debts.
As the tale unfolds, the hero, haunted by the curse of Irumbarazan, seeks aid from an enigmatic astronomer. Together, they unravel a daring plan to summon a spirit, a previous victim of the stone's curse, to aid in their perilous quest.
