Lord of the Flies (1963)

In the aftermath of a catastrophic plane crash, a throng of British students find themselves marooned on a seemingly deserted island. The threads of civilization hang by a delicate balance as these young castaways grapple with their newfound independence. Amid the chaos, a boy named Ralph emerges as a beacon of order, rallying the others to share responsibilities and establish a semblance of society.
