Plot

In the heart of a pioneering corporation focused on the cultivation of new plant species, we find Alice, a devoted single mother and senior plant breeder. Her latest creation is a unique crimson flower of unparalleled beauty and therapeutic potential. This floral marvel, when nurtured under the right conditions and showered with regular conversation, promises to reward its owner with pure happiness. Defying the stringent rules of her workplace, Alice smuggles one of these extraordinary blossoms home, a clandestine gift for her teenage son, Joe. The flower, christened 'Little Joe' in honor of her son, begins to flourish in its new environment. However, as Little Joe grows, Alice is plagued with an unsettling suspicion. The charming nickname of her botanical masterpiece belies its true nature and Alice begins to fear that her creation might not be as benign as she initially thought. Caught in a web of scientific advancement and maternal anxiety, Alice's life begins to twist into a haunting tale of love, fear, and unintended consequences. Will the enchanting 'Little Joe' prove to be a blessing or a curse? The mysteries of nature and the complexities of human emotions intertwine in this captivating plot, challenging the boundaries of familial bonds and the ethics of scientific exploration.
