In the small town of Urbania, Ohio, the world revolves around football, under the watchful eye of ex-football superstar Kevin O'Shea. He runs the town's Peewee football team, the Urbania Cowboys, with an iron fist, leaving no room for those who don't fit his rigid standards. Among the rejects is his own niece, Becky "Icebox" O'Shea, a talented player overlooked simply for being a girl, and a band of boys who failed to make the cut. Becky, refusing to be sidelined, inspires a rebellion.
