Kraa! The Sea Monster (1998)

In the malevolent cosmos of Proyas, the Dark Planet, resides the sinister Lord Doom, hell-bent on galaxy domination. Unleashing his cataclysmic weapon, Kraa the Sea Monster, on Earth, he plots to snuff out the glimmer of resistance. As this leviathan beast emerges from the ocean depths, the Earth quivers in anticipation of its end. All the while, Lord Doom's cunning extends to incapacitating the nearby space station, ensuring the Planet Patrol remains blissfully unaware of his wicked scheme. Amidst the pandemonium, the alien agent Mogyar, a beacon of hope, descends on Earth. A twist of fate lands him in New Jersey, miles away from his intended destination, Italy, where scientists could have aided in constructing a weapon to vanquish Kraa. Marooned amidst humans, Mogyar grapples with his peculiar Italian accent and alien appearance, attempting to build an alliance against this looming apocalypse. As the planet teeters on the brink of destruction, Mogyar unites with a group of brave human guardians. Together, they stand as Earth's last line of defense, a testament to solidarity in the face of annihilation. As Kraa's shadow looms large, they desperately scramble to thwart Lord Doom's nefarious plans and save their home from the jaws of the gargantuan sea monster.
