She's been chosen for a three-month stint as a participant in an experimental anthropology film. The compensation? Free sustenance and shelter in a luxurious, fully-furnished mountain lodge. Her roommates for the duration are an eclectic mix: the sharp-witted Tom, the aspirational actress Erica, college dropout Gary, and the innovative fast-food engineer Tina. An unknown, faceless man fuels her creations, a spectral presence in both her nightmares and her waking hours. Despite the mystery surrounding Kyra, an air of camaraderie fills the lodge, but this tranquility is short-lived. As dusk descends, the seemingly ordinary act of fetching a soda from the kitchen propels Tina into a lethal trap. Panic ensues, and the once enticing lodge transforms into a prison, its doors sealing shut, trapping the remaining residents within.
