Plot

In the shroud of night, the city's underbelly is washed by relentless rain. A young couple, seeking adventure on a solitary drive, veer off course into a desolate alley. Their journey takes a harrowing turn as they stumble upon a horrific sight: a girl, brutally mutilated, gasping her last breaths in a puddle of her own life essence. Her final word, a cryptic utterance - 'Kolobos'. Rewind the clock to 36 hours earlier. Meet Kyra Mitchell, an artist down on her luck yet rich in talent, ensnared in the web of a seemingly perfect opportunity. She's been chosen for a three-month stint as a participant in an experimental anthropology film. The compensation? Free sustenance and shelter in a luxurious, fully-furnished mountain lodge. Her roommates for the duration are an eclectic mix: the sharp-witted Tom, the aspirational actress Erica, college dropout Gary, and the innovative fast-food engineer Tina. Kyra's past remains as enigmatic as her art - a collection of hauntingly dark and provocative pieces. An unknown, faceless man fuels her creations, a spectral presence in both her nightmares and her waking hours. Despite the mystery surrounding Kyra, an air of camaraderie fills the lodge, but this tranquility is short-lived. As dusk descends, the seemingly ordinary act of fetching a soda from the kitchen propels Tina into a lethal trap. Panic ensues, and the once enticing lodge transforms into a prison, its doors sealing shut, trapping the remaining residents within. Now, they're ensnared in a desperate race against time, hunted by an unseen killer who may not be acting alone. Kyra begins to question whether the faceless man in her art is merely a figment of her imagination or a terrifying reality. 'Kolobos' is a chilling tale of isolation, fear, and the thin line between imagination and reality, where survival isn't just about escaping the lodge, but outliving a nightmare that might just be more than a dream.
