Nestled within the tranquil countryside not far from New York, the solitary life of Djuna, a vampire, is punctuated only by the presence of her faithful housemaid Irene, in a grand manor that is the property of her confidant, Xenia. Djuna's world is irrevocably altered when she encounters Paolo, a gifted screenwriter, in a quaint video rental store. Their connection is immediate, potent, and soon spirals into a passionate love affair. Despite her initial resistance, Djuna succumbs to the intoxicating allure of their relationship and reveals her dark secret to Paolo, transforming him into a creature of the night during their intimate moments. Welcoming his new existence, Paolo takes up residence in Djuna's manor, and for a while, they bask in the bliss of their shared immortality. However, the serenity of their world is shattered when Mimi, Djuna's mischievous and disruptive sister, descends upon them unexpectedly for a week-long visit. Mimi's arrival sparks a series of chaotic events, threatening the love between Djuna and Paolo, and casting a dangerous shadow over the entire vampire community.
