Julia, a spirited alcoholic, finds herself jobless in the cutthroat world of real estate. Her life takes an unexpected turn at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, where she crosses paths with Elena, a disturbed Mexican woman. Elena, swathed in tales of vast wealth and a daring plan to abduct her own son from his affluent grandfather, entices Julia into her twisted world. Intrigued, Julia agrees, secretly intending to execute this audacious scheme solo. Following Elena's blueprint, Julia succeeds in snatching ten-year-old Tom, but quickly finds herself trapped in a web of uncertainty. She risks it all, demanding a ransom.
