Joy Ride 2: Dead Ahead (2008)

On the open road to Las Vegas, the scene of her sister Melissa's impending bachelor party, Kayla makes a detour at a gas station for an anticipated rendezvous with Nik, a suave stranger from the virtual realm. Against the vehement protests of Melissa's fiancé, Bobby, Kayla and Nik are drawn onto a less-travelled path. Their journey grinds to an unexpected halt when their car surrenders to mechanical malfunctions. Stranded amidst the desolate vastness, a glimmer of hope appears in the form of an isolated house, its garage harboring a potential rescue vehicle. Surrendering to desperate circumstances, they decide to borrow the car, planning to return with a rental and compensate for any damages Nik's rash decision may have incurred. Melissa leaves her cell number as a token of their promise. Little do they know, their salvation is but an illusion. The house's proprietor is none other than Rusty Nail, the infamous truck driver with a sadistic streak. Their impromptu joy ride is about to cost them more than they ever imagined, leaving them to navigate a dangerous game of cat and mouse with a relentless tormentor.
