Plot

In the gritty realism of Arizona's State Penitentiary, the story of John Light unfolds, masterfully portrayed by fresh talent Michael Ochotorena. Known as one of the most formidable inmates, John's journey takes an unexpected turn when he embraces Christianity during a prison bible study, leaving guards and inmates alike in disbelief. Upon his release, he's eager to spread the message of his newfound faith, yet his intimidating appearance makes the world more fearful than receptive. His only allies in this harsh reality are his gentle Christian mentor, Matt Garrett (Michael Sigler), and his stern, no-nonsense parole officer (Dean Cain). These two men, unacquainted with violence, find themselves in a determined alliance with John, a man who has lived through it. Together, they embark on a journey that's as much about faith as it is about survival, weaving a story that is as intense as it is inspiring. With the odds stacked against him, John must fight not only for his life but also for his redemption and the chance to change the world's perception of him.
