Plot

In the grimy heart of London, 1888, a shadowy figure known as Jack the Ripper prowls the murky streets of Whitechapel. This enigmatic serial killer, who would later be infamous for the 'Whitechapel murders', strikes fear into the community as he ruthlessly targets and slaughters women. It's against this chilling backdrop that the young German woman, Anna Kosminski (Sonja Gerhardt), steps into the scene, her heart filled with hope for a new beginning with her brother Jakob (Vladimir Burlakov). However, Anna's dreams shatter upon discovering Jakob's confinement in a mental hospital, accused of being the bloodthirsty Ripper himself. But Anna, firm in her belief of her brother's innocence, plunges into the grim underbelly of London to clear his name. Her investigation leads her to the doorstep of Samuel Harris (Nicholas Farrell), a police photographer and Jakob's former employer. Despite his willingness to assist, Anna cannot shake off an unsettling suspicion towards the eerie old man. As the noose tightens around Jakob, Anna finds unexpected allies in Frederick Abberline (Falk Hentschel), the investigating commissioner, and David Cohen (Sabin Tambrea), Jakob's friend. Yet, with uncertainty clouding her every step, Anna is left questioning who she can truly trust. Her quest for the truth thrusts her into a dangerous game of cat and mouse, where she becomes the prey. The elusive Ripper always seems to be one step ahead, making Anna's every move a dance with death. Little does she know, she is on a collision course with the very heart of the terror ravaging Whitechapel. 'Jack the Ripper: The London Slasher' is a riveting journey through a city gripped by fear, where trust is a luxury and survival is a constant gamble.
