In the shadow of the Civil War, Matt Weaver, a battle-hardened Confederate Army veteran, finds his way back to the sun-scoured expanses of his New Mexico hometown. The scars of war linger, but a deeper wound awaits him at home. His ancestral farmhouse, a symbol of his legacy, has been unjustly seized and sold by the town's unscrupulous boss, Sam Brewster. Fueled by a quest for justice, Weaver, the town's lone Rebel, is determined to reclaim his rightful property. However, his pursuit of retribution becomes a dance with danger when Brewster hires the dashing Creole gunslinger, Jules Gaspard d'Estaing, to eliminate him.
