Plot
Indie Game: The Movie is a documentary that follows the trials, tribulations, and successes of the developers of three wildly popular independently produced video games. Specifically, it follows the producers of Braid, Super Meat Boy, and Fez. The developers of all three games faced a variety of obstacles, including dealing with former partners, legal struggles, technological challenges, and the general "development hell" that countless video games go through. In the end, all three games were wildly successful, but the developers faced additional challenges as they struggled to replicate their success and adjust to their newfound success.
