In the heart of India's rural Kanati District, Sergeant Sajan Chaudhri steps into his new role at the local police station, a post left vacant by a predecessor who mysteriously disappeared two months prior. As he acclimates to the peculiarities of his new environment and its inhabitants, a disturbance arises. Two Caucasian outsiders, John and Gina, seek his assistance for their friend Geraldine, victim to the venomous bite of a Bolivian spider. Entrusted to the care of the enigmatic Dr. Lecorpus, Geraldine's condition is far from any hospital's help. Driven by his duty, Sajan embarks on an investigation into the heart of the wilderness, only to be ensnared in the web of a primitive spider-worshipping tribe and come face-to-face with the elusive Dr. Lecorpus. Despite reassurances of Geraldine's improved health and subsequent departure, Sergeant Chaudhri's instincts propel him further into the tangled jungle of secrets. Meanwhile, the backpacking American friends Gina, John, Stacy, and their guide Brian, wade deeper into the forest to visit a temple while waiting for Stacy's recovery. Unbeknownst to them, an ominous presence lurks in the shadows, a man masked in mystery and harboring a terrifying agenda. He aims to paralyze them using the venom of spiders, extracting their organs to sell to the highest bidder. As they become targets of venomous spiders and this masked stranger, Sajan, John, Gina, Brian, and Stacy find themselves in a deadly race against time. As they unravel the chilling secret of Dr. Lecorpus, they must fight for survival in a world where danger lurks behind every leaf, and trust is as elusive as a spider in its web. In the depths of the Indian jungle, they learn the terrifying truth - they are caught, hopelessly, in the spider's web.
