When Tim Callahan, a devoted aide to New York Senator Lauren Platt, faces the devastating loss of a $3 million funding for his cherished project - a sanctuary for vulnerable children and youth, his world takes a tumble. The horror escalates when Tim receives the promised $3 million in untraceable Euro bonds, anonymously. The murderer, blinded by greed and desperation, will stop at nothing to retrieve this fortune from Tim and Donald. With their lives hanging in a precarious balance, Donald collaborates with the police to unravel the mystery. The goal: to unearth Lenigan's motive behind his philanthropic gesture, the possible link between Jake's father's murder and the current case, identify the rightful owner of the money, and most crucially, to ensure their survival against the looming threat of becoming the murderer's next victims.
