Plot

In the tumultuous sea of high school life, Halley - a young, vibrant student - finds herself drowning in a whirlpool of dysfunctional relationships and disillusionment. Love, in her eyes, has been tainted by the chaotic romances surrounding her. Her parents' recent divorce has led to her father's entanglement with a youthful girlfriend, a relationship Halley views with disdain. Meanwhile, her mother seems to be perpetually adrift in solitude. Her sister, once lively and outgoing, is now cloistered within the confines of their home, consumed by the frenzied preparations for an impending wedding she's not entirely sure about. Even Halley's closest confidant, her best friend, succumbs to the intoxicating madness of first love, leaving Halley feeling increasingly isolated. The students at her school seem to mirror the same shallow relationships Halley has grown to despise, reinforcing her conviction that true love is an impossible mirage. That is until a sudden tragic event brings Macon into her life. This new, intriguing boy challenges Halley's cynicism, attempting to guide her through the labyrinth of love and show her its true essence. In the midst of the chaos, Halley discovers that love can bloom in the most unexpected of circumstances, uprooting her firmly held beliefs and illuminating her path with a faint glimmer of hope. "How to Deal" is a compelling journey of self-discovery and the unpredictable nature of love, told through the rollercoaster ride of teenage life.
