Plot

Privileged city boy Michael Woods extends a warm welcome to his cousin Tommy Biggs, inviting him to experience the glitz and glamour of Los Angeles. Yet, the excitement fizzles out quickly for Tommy, who finds himself sidelined in the heart of the city, overlooked by his cousin who'd promised him an unforgettable time. After a heartfelt conversation with the family housekeeper, Michael decides to treat Tommy to a day at Disneyland. But when his melodramatic girlfriend, Gina, summons him to the racetrack, he hastily dumps Tommy at a children's play area to answer her beckoning. Returning to retrieve Tommy, Michael becomes entangled in a car accident, exacerbating the situation by providing incorrect information to the other party involved. This ignites a heated argument between the cousins, leading to Tommy's abrupt departure and a call from his mother to the Woods, revealing Michael's discourtesy. As a lesson in manners and empathy, Michael's parents sentence him to a month of labor at Tommy's ranch, offering a stark contrast to his usual luxurious lifestyle. However, upon discovering the ranch is on the brink of foreclosure, Michael finds himself thrust into a battle to save the only home Tommy and his Aunt Jules have. In this unexpected turn of events, the cousins must cast aside their grievances and unite to rescue the ranch, offering Michael an invaluable lesson about loyalty, love, and the real value of family.
