Celebrated New York novelist Kenneth Bixby, famed for his latest book "Miriam," is caught in a whirlwind of promotional frenzy. His next stop: the bustling city of Cleveland. By his side is his loyal secretary and girlfriend, Anne Rogers, a woman of boundless efficiency and patience.
