Victoria Tremont, a vivacious socialite grown weary of her fluttering lifestyle, craves a meaningful connection. Her world takes a turn when a dashing stranger saunters into the coffee shop she works at. She plays the flirtation card but is left puzzled when he doesn't fall for her usual charms. Unveiling his identity, she discovers he is Jason Holman, the heart behind a faith-based ministry that crafts affordable homes for the less fortunate. Seeing an opportunity, Victoria decides to volunteer, reasoning that feigning interest in a faith-based mission is no different than pretending to enjoy sports or a man's company. Jason, on the other hand, has moved his life in search of a place free from love's fickleness. As the orchestrator of Home Base, a nonprofit organization committed to housing the disadvantaged, he finds purpose. Yet, he yearns for a remedy to his solitude. When Victoria, a stunning blonde volunteer, enters his sphere, he decides to maintain a professional boundary.
