Plot

In the glitzy world of a bustling New York nightclub, the inseparable trio of Jim Hardy, Lila Dixon, and Ted Hanover reign supreme. With Jim's melodic voice, Ted's nimble steps, and Lila's captivating allure bridging the two, they are the epitome of a perfect act. However, life performs an unexpected pirouette when Jim's dreams of tranquil farm life in Midville, Connecticut, with Lila are shattered. Lila, a creature of the spotlight, confesses her mutual love for Ted, and the duo ascends to stardom, leaving Jim behind. A year on, Jim, a failed farmer but an ardent lover of the countryside, strikes a harmonious chord between the bucolic and the glamorous. He transforms his farm into the Holiday Inn, a unique establishment that opens its doors only on the fifteen holidays of the year. The inn takes the form of a stage for holiday-themed dinner shows, with Jim as the star, basking in the allure of a laid-back, rustic charm. The spotlight then shines on Linda Mason, an up-and-coming performer whom Jim hires to lead the shows. As their hearts start to hum the same tune, the spectre of Ted re-emerges. Abandoned by Lila, Ted sets his sights on Linda, nudged on by Danny Reed, his ambitious manager who dreams of making Ted and Linda the next Hollywood sensation. Caught in a whirlwind of affection and ambition, Jim finds himself in a desperate race to keep Linda away from Ted's dazzling dance and Danny's tempting offers of stardom. As Linda becomes a puppet in their tug of war, she has to navigate through the manipulations and uncover the truth. It is this truth that will guide her to the stage where her heart truly belongs - whether it is under the bright lights of Hollywood or the twinkle of the stars above the Holiday Inn.
