Plot

In the bustling rhythm of her solitary existence, Mitsuko Kuroda, a contentedly independent 31-year-old, navigates life's ebbs and flows with tranquility. Her work, routines, and solitude are her chosen companions, their predictability her comfort. Yet, Mitsuko isn't entirely alone. She shares her world with an unusual confidante, a mental counselor known simply as "A". This invisible companion, a creation of her own psyche, complements her lifestyle, offering guidance and companionship in her solo journey. However, Mitsuko's quiet equilibrium is disrupted when she unexpectedly stumbles into the realm of love. A chance encounter with a charismatic young man, Tada, sends her heart spiraling into a whirlwind of emotions, presenting a contrast to her otherwise undisturbed existence. As Mitsuko grapples with her burgeoning feelings, the distance between her heart and Tada's becomes a tantalizing dance, a love balanced precariously on the edge, never closer than a breath's distance of 10cm. In "Hold Me Back", love, solitude, and imagination intertwine in a delicate ballet, exploring the nuances of independence and the unexpected tremors of heartfelt connection. Will Mitsuko's newfound love disrupt her carefully curated harmony, or will she find a way to reconcile her independent spirit with the exhilarating thrill of romance?
