Having completed his medical studies with distinction, Sunil Mehra, the son of D.I.G. Shyamlal Mehra, returns to India armed with not only knowledge but a profound belief that medicine is a sacred duty, not a commercial venture. He foregoes an opportunity to join his fiancée Dr. Neeta Verma at a private hospital, choosing instead to serve at a municipal hospital. A chance visit to an isolated village nestled in the Himalayan foothills stirs something within Sunil. The village, cut off from the world, doesn't have a single doctor in miles. Inspired by their plight, Sunil sets up a humble hospital in the village, equipped with merely basic facilities, determined to bring medical care to this remote corner of the world. On his journey, he crosses paths with the spirited village belle, Phoolwa, and her guardian Dayal. Phoolwa becomes an integral part of Sunil's life, aiding him in his daily hospital duties and stirring his heart with her charm. Their bond grows into love, but the path to their union is fraught with obstacles. Dayal reveals that Phoolwa is the daughter of his outlaw brother, Lakhan, who harbors a deep resentment for Sunil because of his father's determination to apprehend him.
