Hell (2011)

In the scorching aftermath of a world ravaged by rising temperatures, three companions - the nimble Französin (Lilo Baur), the steadfast Franzose (Marco Calamandrei), and the resourceful Leonie (Lisa Vicari) - embark on a desperate journey for survival, setting their sights on the cooler sanctuary of the mountains. Their trek, however, is littered with hurdles that test their mettle at every turn. Their first challenge arises at an isolated oil station, where they cross paths with a menacing stranger, whose intentions are as deceptively murky as the dusty desert air. This encounter spirals into a tense game of cat and mouse as they scavenge for supplies, their vehicle vulnerable to the stranger's prying eyes and thieving hands. But the insidious heat of their environment is not their only foe. Mid-journey, the road morphs into a merciless trap, ensnaring them in its hot embrace. As they forage for oil, one of their own vanishes without a trace, snatched away by an unseen group of assailants. This unsettling incident marks the beginning of a series of escalating trials, plunging them deeper into a world where survival is a luxury, and trust is as scarce as the dwindling water.
