Juan Santos, a seasoned convict striving for a semblance of normalcy, steps out from behind bars for his daughter Estrella's First Communion, only to find himself ensnared once again in the webs of crime. A chilling accident shatters Juan's family, leaving Estrella's life hanging by a thread, and Juan's dreams of freedom splintered.
