Plot

In the unforgiving labyrinth of Sevilla's most notorious neighbourhood, Las 3.000 Viviendas, the law is but a whisper. Juan Santos, a seasoned convict striving for a semblance of normalcy, steps out from behind bars for his daughter Estrella's First Communion, only to find himself ensnared once again in the webs of crime. A chilling accident shatters Juan's family, leaving Estrella's life hanging by a thread, and Juan's dreams of freedom splintered. Simultaneously, the grizzled Detective Manuel Santacana and his greenhorn partner Eli find themselves in the eye of a murder storm, investigating the brutal execution of four Romanian drug peddlers. The clues lead them to a shocking nexus between the murders and the hit-and-run that cost Estrella her life. Devastated, yet fueled by a thirst for justice, Juan seeks counsel from his mother María, an ousted mob boss, as he prepares to wage a war against rival families Fortuna and Taboa. Parallel to Juan's quest for vengeance, Eli and Manuel dig deeper, unearthing the Fortuna family's involvement, and setting in motion a relentless manhunt. As Juan, his brother Chico, and uncle Andrés traverse the treacherous path of revenge, they are guided by whispers of a junkie named Kempes, who might hold the key to their salvation. Meanwhile, Eli stumbles upon a sinister connection between the crime and her fellow officers - a revelation that sends shockwaves through the ranks. Triana, Juan's wife, grapples with the possibility of a second chance at motherhood, while Juan agrees to be a drug mule to infiltrate the Fortuna ranks. Eli's relentless pursuit of truth leads her to Kempes, who discloses a deeper corruption involving a third cop and the Taboa family. This revelation propels Eli into a deadly chase through the heart of The 3,000, resulting in an unlikely alliance with Juan and Triana. As the clock ticks, Juan and Eli are thrust into a deadly race against time, where survival is a gamble. Their only hope lies in exposing the rot within the system, avenging their losses, and salvaging what's left of their lives amidst the chaos. One thing is certain: in the merciless realm of Las 3.000 Viviendas, there are no guarantees.
