Plot

Seventeen-year-old João, embodied by João Pedro Zappa, is a young man lost in his own invisibility, an emotional echo that reverberates in the hollows of his existence. Plagued with behavioral turmoil, he finds himself confined within the sterile walls of a psychiatric clinic, a detour in his life orchestrated by his own family. In this unlikely sanctuary, he encounters Judith, played by the captivating Deborah Secco, a woman of thirty who carries the weight of a lifetime in her eyes. Their worlds collide in a dance of destiny, and despite their stark age difference and the chains of their circumstances, they are inexplicably drawn to each other. Amidst the sterile monotony of the clinic, João and Judith kindle an intense love, a flame that blazes with transformative power, altering the trajectories of their lives. But their passionate romance is cast in the long, inescapable shadow of mortality. Judith, having tasted life in all its bitter-sweetness, is on the precipice of her own demise, a fact known to both yet spoken by none. Yet, this stark reality does not dim their love but instead illuminates it, their grand romance unfurling within the confines of the clinic amidst the ticking clock of Judith's life. 'Good Luck' is a heart-rending tale that explores the depth of love and the resilience of the human spirit against the backdrop of impending loss.
